Striker Stables - Expert Training for Horse and Rider
Striker Stables is high-end hunter jumper barn in the San Francisco Bay Area where riders can learn the art of hunters, equitation or jumpers from Gary Striker, a top rider and judge. The horses enjoy large stalls with paddocks, quality hay and feed, large turnout areas and daily care. The Gilroy facility has an over sized outdoor arena and 200x100 fully covered arena, an enclosed hot walker and more.
Training
Gary Striker has been coaching equestrians and training hunter jumpers for nearly thirty years. Gary began competing on the hunter - jumper circuit at a young age. After graduating from WSU Gary took a break from horses to start a career in hotel management. He soon realized his real calling was training and coaching hunter jumper riders and horses.
Gary currently holds a USEF “R” judges card and an Equine Canada “S” course designer card. Gary specializes in teaching riders the fundamental to advanced skills of flat work and jumping, training young horses and preparing students to show on the "A" circuit.
Buying and Sales
With strong relationships across the United States , and a good understanding of the U.S. market, Gary selects quality horses for the American show ring. From beautiful young Hunter prospects to going International Grand Prix Jumpers, Gary can fully coordinate a buying trip or work on your behalf to purchase your next horse.
