About Striker Stables

Education

Gary Striker been coaching equestrians and training hunters and jumpers for almost thirty years. Gary began competing on the hunter - jumper circuit at a young age. After graduating from WSU Gary took a break from horses to start a career in hotel management. Gary soon realized his real calling was training and coaching hunter jumper riders and horses.

Experience

Gary has owned and operated Stirker Stables, an A system show barn, for the past twenty years. He enjoys bringing along young horses and putting the polish on the seasoned pro. He has coached many students from the long stirrup ring through the grand prix ring. Most recently he has had numerous clients with yearend awards from Washington State Hunter Jumper Association and USEF Zone awards for Zone 9.

Judging

Gary currently holds a USEF “R” judges card.

Course Design

Gary holds an USEF "R" and an Equine Canada “S” course designer card.
